David is one of the founding partners of Lawrence-Hall Consultants, he qualified as a metallurgist and worked within this industry for many years in the aerospace, automotive and defence industries before moving to the quality sector. He is a Registered Lead Auditor for: ISO9001:2008, ISO13485:2003 and DAMAS

David's specialised areas are ISO9001:2008 and ISO13485:2003, Aerospace AS91000, EU Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, CMDCAS (Canadian Medical Devices Conformity Assessment System), DAMAS and FDA CFR Part 820

His consulting and auditing projects have taken him to many parts of the world including: the USA, Europe, Canada, China, Singapore, North and South Africa, Indonesia, the Indian continent and Mexico
